Finance is rightly said to be the life blood of any business. In view of the increasing importance of finance function, financial management has been incorporated as an assential subject of study by various Universities. the area covered in this subject is very wide. We had written earlier a book ' Financial  Management -Theory and Practice ' which covered almost all the topics on financial management , cost accounting. and management accounting. the book was well received by the teachers and students appearing for various examinations. for the benefit of students we had also brought out the book' practical problems in Management Accounting and Financial Management .

The new syllabi of BBA, (2 nd Semester ) of  panjab University contains the subject of Financial Management. The present book has been written to cater to the needs of students appearing in such examinations. The book contains 11 chapter and covers the entire new syllabus prescribed by the University.
