Part I covers Some Basic Concepts of Chemistry, Structure of Atom, Classification of Elements & Periodicity in Properties, Chemical Bonding & Molecular Structure, States of Matter, Thermodynamics, Equilibrium, Redox Reactions, Hydrogen, s-Block Elements, p-Block Elements, Organic Chemistry: Some Basic Principles & Techniques, Hydrocarbons, Environmental and Chemistry whereas Part II which is based on Class XII NCERT has been divided into The Solid State, Solutions, Electrochemistry, Chemical Kinetics, Surface Chemistry, Nuclear Chemistry, p-Block Elements, The d-and f-Block Elements, Coordination Compounds, Haloalkanes & Haloarenes, Alcohols, Phenols & Ethers, Aldehydes, Ketones & Carboxylic Acids, Nitrogen Containing Compounds, Biomolecules, Polymers, Chemistry in Everyday Life, Analytical Chemistry and General Principles & Processes of Isolation of Elements. The chapters covered in the book have been divided in sync with Class XI & XII NCERT Chemistry Textbooks. At the end of each chapter, the objective questions asked in last 12 years’ (2005-2016) Engineering Entrances have been provided Chapterwise & Topicwise along with their explanations. Also questions asked in JEE Main 2015 have been given separately at the end of the book to make students aware about the current trend of the examination. The book also contains solved papers 2016 JEE Main, & Other Engineering exams  to help aspirants get an insight into the recent examination pattern and the types of questions asked therein.
