Architecture is the art and science of designing & making buildings and other physical structures and various universities & institutes across the nation conduct entrance examination for admission to Bachelor of Architecture (B. Arch) which is an undergraduate level academic course in architecture. This book has been designed for the aspirants preparing for NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) and Architecture Aptitude Test in JEE Main, AIEEE, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, School of Planning & Architecture, Jamia Milia, Annamallai University, JJ College of Architecture, BIT Mesra and all other universities in India.
The present book for B. Arch Entrance Examination 2017 has been divided into four sections namely Architectural Aptitude, Analytical Reasoning, Drawing Aptitude and Mathematics, each sub-divided into number of chapters as per the syllabi of the entrance examination for admission to B.Arch programmed. Detailed theoretical content has been given chapterwise with suitable examples for better understanding of the concepts covered under the syllabi. Each chapter in the book contains ample number of solved problems which have been designed to help students understand the concepts thoroughly. Also unsolved practice exercises have been given after each chapter along with their hints & solutions for revision of the concepts covered in the chapters. Also previous years’ questions asked in various architecture entrance exams have been given at the end of each section along with smart practice exercises. Also last six years’ (2011-2016) Solved Papers of B. Arch Entrance Examination have been given in the book to help candidates get an insight into the types of questions asked in the entrance examination.
